Founding Director

Andrew has lived locally all his life and worked with a local independent estate agent for 12 years until setting up Andrew J Nowell & Company in 1991.  Andrew has a depth of knowledge in residential property and advises customers on the sale and acquisition of residential development sites.  Andrew has a hands on approach advising clients on a day to day basis and overseeing and negotiating sales and assisting on the rental side.  He deals with all aspects of the business to retain the high level of customer service.

Abigail works alongside Andrew in an administration role, assisting with day to day running of the office, liaising with the marketing and social media side and promotion of the company.


Carolyn Charnley

Sales/Marketing Office Manager

Carolyn has been with Andrew J Nowell & Company since 2001.  She is responsible for the sales side of the business dealing with clients, negotiating transactions and liaising with both purchasers and vendors. Carolyn ensures that the sales proceed to an efficient conclusion and also organises national and local advertising and Cheshire Life.  She is also responsible for the day to day running of the office and general administration.

Sales Manager

Will works alongside Andrew advising clients primarily on the sales side, responsible for listing, selling and negotiating sales and ensuring they proceed to a smooth conclusion.  Also assisting Jo Townson in listing and advising on letting and management properties.  Will has always lived in the local area and was brought up in Wilmslow, he is a member of The National Association of Estate Agents.


The company has a strong sector of the letting market and prides itself in painstakingly advising our clients on the right tenancy and understanding their expectations. In the productive side of the business it is important to find the right marriage between the requirements of the landlord and tenant.

Jo Townson BSc Hons MRICS

Letting Manager

Jo heads up the letting side of Andrew J Nowell & Company and is an experienced property professional. She is a fully qualified chartered surveyor with a wealth of experience in the private sector.  She has an extensive knowledge of the property market having lived and worked in the area for 20 years.  Her main role is advising existing and new clients on renting and marketing their properties, negotiating new tenancies and day to day feedback to clients on this side of the business.

Emma Kaberry and Julia Richardson

Weekend/Weekday Sales

Emma & Julia are both responsible for arranging and carrying out viewings, client feedback and sale progression, day to day administration and assisting with the marketing side of the business.
